Review # 1 was written on 2016-09-29 00:00:00 Angie Lance Well, it's the Bible. So...five stars & I learned a lot. Seriously, I love this Bible- it's got ridiculous notes in it from Mr. Dake, who is widely acclaimed in Christian circles for the scholarship he's done. Occasionally he's quite opinionated, infrequently he espouses an idea and seems to give insufficient evidence to wholly convince me of his point, and he's not a fan of interracial marriage based apparently on it being outlawed in Jewish law, but these ornery moments are few & far between. A wonderful resource for laypeople & preachers- he really lays everything out for you. I don't look at too many other Bibles, as I'm very biased toward this one-my dad also owned one-but I doubt you'll find one more informative.
