Review # 1 was written on 2014-09-05 00:00:00 Dennis Remavich This is an excellent overview of US constitutional law. It is useful for both legal practitioners and constitutional scholars. Although there is no substitute for reading the cases themselves, this volume provides the context that makes the cases intelligible, especially in those areas of constitutional law in which the reader might not already be expert. Of course, this hornbook and its supplements cannot keep up with the very latest US Supreme Court decisions, for which the researcher must consult the Supreme Court's slip opinions (available online at ). |
