Review # 1 was written on 2020-12-24 00:00:00 Christopher Obrien This book has an number of different storylines going on and as a whole they did not work together enough for me to enjoy this book. There is the main storyline of Jace trying to find the person who is blackmailing his client, the secondary story of Jace being made into a vampire (the sub story to which is the logistics of how to live as a vampire), there is also a storyline about his sexual impotence, which I think went on too long, and last but not least there is the love story between Jance and Risha (which is told with numerous graphic sex scenes). The conclusion was to me very lazy and quite unbelievable, which says something considering this is a vampire mystery, erotic novel. I did not like the main character as he was in my option very self involved, mean to other people, including Risha who he claims to love and has shaky morals given that he sys one thing and then does another. I did not like this book and cannot recommend it.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-12-29 00:00:00 K A Whittaker Sequel to Love Bite, where vamp Risha Cadigan was suspected in series of murders- cop Jace Levy protected her and left the LA PD. In the sequel Risha and Jace return to LA for a photography show, and Jace undertakes a blackmail investigation. Lots of sex. Risha turns Jace to a vamp, and he goes through a difficult adjustment. Jace finds out there are questions he should have asked BEFORE he decided to be a vamp.
