Review # 1 was written on 2013-03-05 00:00:00 Fernando Rodriguez An excellent discussion of Milton's epic. I especially appreciated the perspective on Milton's Satan and on the unfortunate nature of the Fall. I highly recommend this brief book to anyone who is reading or has read Paradise Lost.

Review # 2 was written on 2012-09-14 00:00:00 C Macgillivray This book is a good critical introduction, meant for university students. Of course you're supposed to have read Paradise Lost before, because there are too many direct references to the text. My only compliant is the structure of the second chapter. It's a very long chapter that goes on and on and on'non-stop'making it an exhaustive marathon.
