Review # 1 was written on 2013-02-06 00:00:00 Paul Keating The story of post-WWII reconstruction of science in Japan during the occupation. Harry Kelly was the chief science advisor for the US and is credited with resurecting and improving science in Japan. He was honored by the Japanese for this and is still revered by scientists in Japan. I read this because he was my uncle and an incredible person. Unfortunately the book is very dry and not very exciting.
