Review # 1 was written on 2020-02-15 00:00:00 Steven Schwartz Heavily biased _not_ on space shots. Telescopes get a lot of coverage, as well as launch sites and training facilities. There's material on the moonshots and the various space vehicles put together by different nations, and a look forward at the sorts of upcoming telescopes, launches, projects and space habitats that are coming, as well as general challenges. Note this is written 30 years ago, so some of the speculation hits and some misses. A particularly nice touch was the bottom corner globe pictures with the marker(s) for 'where in the world' the particular pictures are from. |
Review # 2 was written on 2008-03-19 00:00:00 Anton Dimov I loved this book except for the final two pages. The last scene felt out of place and a bit upsetting after such a beautiful story. I would have given the full five stars if it had ended with the wedding. |
