Review # 1 was written on 2012-10-10 00:00:00 Paul Lazauskas "The 10 Laws of Enduring Success" for me was a bit of a let down. Not sure what exactly I expected to learn, perhaps because I am older than she is and not as successful, but the main message or takeaway that I got from her story is that she was in the right place at the right time. But of course, she would say she made her own luck. While perhaps true, that is difficult to translate into any teachable moments.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-11-27 00:00:00 Jayson Stutsman "The 10 Laws of Enduring Success" consists of Ms. Bartiromo's musings on happiness, i.e., success, in personal and professional life. Quite a busy schedule she has! She gives examples of what she has learned from her interviews and behind-the-scenes encounters with business and goverment leaders, and the countless events she quotes from here date largely from 2009-2010. As a synopsis and guide to the book, it's revealing to just list the table of contents: Prologue - Born on September 11, Redefining success; Seeking a Meaningful Path, The 10 laws of success [which are the following chapters]; Self-Knowledge, Listen to your heart; Vision, Plant your dreams on solid ground; Initiative, Keep rattling the cage; Courage, Be bold, smart, and fair; Integrity, Do the right thing; Adaptability, Stay open to change; Humility, Hold on to your humanity; Endurance, build your stamina; Purpose, Know what matters most; Resilience, Get up and move on. This book can be a motivator for personal change, and confirms what we instinctively know, but are challenged daily to follow.
