Review # 1 was written on 2013-07-25 00:00:00 Virginia Sanchez I was turned onto Big Bob Gibson's BBQ book from a friend who had grown up in Alabama and was a true believer that Bob Gibson has some of the best BBQ on earth. I am fortunate that he provided me with this great advice, as I promptly went out and got a copy of this fabulous book. First of all this cook book is gorgeous. The photography of the food is beautiful, with high definition closeups of the recipes that will make your mouth water just looking at them. The stories about Big Bob Gibson's give a great historical look at the family and the restaurant, providing a great perspective to why they are so good at what they do. Then there are the recipes, for beef, pork and poultry that will amaze your taste buds. I am really enjoying this cookbook and if you are really looking to ramp up your BBQ skills, I would highly recommend getting into Southern BBQ cooking at its best.

Review # 2 was written on 2012-07-22 00:00:00 Natasha Dawdy An excellent book on BBQ by Chris Lilly. Covers a lot of ground and the back story is as interesting as the recipes themselves. A must read for the person who is serious about barbeque.
