Review # 2 was written on 2012-11-04 00:00:00 Beverly White This was the most interesting part of the book, without it, The Gospel According to Satan, would have been worthless to me: "The first day, when God created the Heavens and the Earth and the Sun for lighting this world, Satan created the void between the Earth and the stars, then he steeped the world in shadows. The second day, when God created the oceans with their shores, Satan gave them the power to rise and flood God's creation. The third day, when God created the trees and the woods, Satan made the winds which flattened them and when God made the healing plants, Satan created the other plants, the venomous ones and the stabbing plants army. The forth day God created the bird and Satan made the snake. Then God created the bee and Satan made the hornet. And for every species God created, Satan made a predator to destroy God's work. Then, when God engendered the animals and plants through the seas, the earth and the skies in order to multiply, Satan gave his claw and fang creatures and ordered them to kill all God's creatures. The sixth day, when God decided that his world was ready to give life, he created two spirist resembling his face and appearance and named them 'man' and 'woman'. As an answer to this crime of crimes that threatened the world's alignment, Satan spelled a curse on those immortal souls. Then he seeded doubt and despair into their hearts and stole God's own creation fate; Satan gave a death sentence to all humanity that was to be born from the man and the woman's union. Understanding that the fight against his contrary was in vain, the seventh day God let the people to the animals, to feast. And after he locked Satan in the tripe of this chaotic universe that the Eternal Chasm didn't predict, God turned his face from his piece of work and Satan remained by himself to haunt the people."
