In nature, it was clear enough that the fittest and best survived, whereas dying and degenerate races were destroyed. The applications of logic to action that Frege had promised came readily to hand. If Jews are a mongrel race, they must be exterminated. "A thought like a hammer" demanded instant obedience to the dictates of logic. Little did I know that every deduction I ever scratched down on paper, no matter how idle, every jot and tittle, every p and q, every premise, every conclusion ... stained my hands with the blood of millions of Jews. I shall never live down my crimes against humanity. But to the end my gratitude towards Andrea Nye will not waver, for she has shown me the grave error of my ways, and I have at last turned away from the path of madness ... nie wieder.
