Awesome book, beautiful illustrations depicting battles, well written very descriptive of each epic battle and exchanges that had taken place. Best of all many authentic letters written by prestigious early names/nobles of the founding fathers of the once great United States of America throughout the book. The book proves that George Washington his excellency was surely the greatest and most respected founding father, seeing as he had no rivals, never had a bad thing said about him, being extremely humble and wise through out his life. 588 pages of epic happenings, not one boring page, I highly recommend reading it although my book is an original 1848..good luck finding it anywhere lol.

George Washington was the man and this book was a great source of information about his contributions in the French and Indian wars and the War of Independence. It felt a bit light on the description of Washington's two terms as President, however, but it made me want to get to know this great man more.
