Review # 1 was written on 2012-10-07 00:00:00 Lawrence Boehm Jr. The only way in which this book falls short of perfection is its relative brevity. And this is an excusable flaw, as photographers who are ruthless editors of their own work as I suspect Sommer was often leave little chaff in the wheat. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful photographs, drawings, and other artworks!

Review # 2 was written on 2015-01-09 00:00:00 Louis Brickhouse Excellent visual photographs from the work of revolutionary photographer Frederick Sommer. A good book to flip through on a rainy day; not my favorite photographer.
