Review # 1 was written on 2019-08-08 00:00:00 Paul Contoyannis There are no trans-Texas trails in the state but there are numerous hiking trails predominately in state parks, national forests, and the few national parks. Some require overnight trips. Each of these trails are described and have a simple map. Although published in 1990, the book has useful information for the hiker.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-05-04 00:00:00 Mark Varni A fun, easy read. Wish it could be revised to include color photos and updates on what's left of these places. If nothing else, this is a fabulous inspiration for a lot of day trips around Texas!
