Review # 1 was written on 2017-04-14 00:00:00 Pam Thieme Hakan Yavuz is actually a professor of mine at the University of Utah. He is a funny guy and his class is mostly pretty enjoyable (despite being disorganized and unpredictable) but this book is a fairly boring historical account of Turkey's AKP. Don't read unless you love modern Turkish political history or you are required to for a class.
