Review # 1 was written on 2013-08-20 00:00:00 Steve Mccaughan Any book on race is bound to upset me. I believe race to be an inherently flawed concept. The book does give some good insight on the subject but I really don't recommend it. We shouldn't be thinking about each other in terms of race. We are the human race. |
Review # 2 was written on 2017-09-09 00:00:00 Jw Loy 3.5 Stars, really. Read this for a class (and read all the chapters, which was nice) on race and race relations in America. I loved the history I learned in every chapter and the way Healey dealt with intersectionality. I got mad with just about every reading as well, because each chapter discussed a history that everyone should be learning in American History class, not just when they choose to take a class on race and racism in America. |
