Review # 1 was written on 2012-10-21 00:00:00 Nicholas Politan Although this book is not classified as a reference book, as a reader of reference books, I can address that its style is close to a text book. It is a very informative book on the architecture of Europe.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-09-24 00:00:00 James Morrison Excellent reference guide--- another fine volume in the Penguin Dictionary series. One can just...dive in and fine excellent definitions and examples as well as fine small biographies and accounts of periods, technologies, and the influence of particular architects and schools. A fine little worktable reference as well as a mini-encyclopaedia worth having.
