Review # 1 was written on 2014-04-29 00:00:00 James Marnie I remember my maths teacher at A-Level introducing us to hyper-cubes - for that reason alone a book with a representation of a hyper-sphere gets five stars from me. More importantly this is a rigorous academic work - sadly that probably leaves it of interest only to specialists. Anyone else reading this, please try it - aspects are surprisingly readable for the layman - at worst you'll pick it up, read the first paragraph, and put it down. That was my approach to Heidegger but I have been forced to re-appraise after reading someone else's article which simplified the broad scope enough to get past the very dense original text. A.P. |
Review # 2 was written on 2009-12-21 00:00:00 Jon Patti The final chapter is about as close as one can get to an altar call in an academic press title on "Religion and Critical Theory." |
