Incredibil efort de cercetare, greu de evaluat ca demers stiintific daca nu esti specialist, dar nu se poate sa nu admiri suflul pus in paginile acestea. Si este abia primul volum.

I'm glad to be done with this one. It stayed on my TBR for a long time and, to it's credit, you do get a fairly good chronology of the Protocols themselves. The author is, however a lawyer, and does not have the sensibilities of a novelist, so there are a lot of discussions about points that the casual reader would just as soon 'stipulate' and get on with it. Also the second two thirds of the book revolve around court cases where the Protocols were challenged and attempts to ban it. This led to a lot of repetition and lengthy passages about legal maneuvers that were not very interesting to me. The argument made is for censorship which I disagree with, but this particular book would be one of the few extremes that test the premise that censorship is always wrong. The overwhelming majority of the readers of the Protocols would be people who are keen on it's message; 'Preaching to the Choir' in it's purest form.
