Although the title shows it is an introductory book I never thought it was going to be Nietzsche over-simplified. I don't really agree with the idea of such a book as any introduction to Nietzsche needs to be much longer, clearer, more detailed and helpful than this book. You cannot allocate to subjects such as "will to power", "individual over the herd", "superman", etc. only one paragraph, and recount few historical facts instead of giving any real explanations. I don't recommend the book even to those who have never heard the name of Nietzsche.

If you have a desire to study Nietszche (for whatever reason) and you don't know where to start, this is a good book to read. However, NOTHING about Nietzsche is straight forward or easy. That goes for this book as well.
