Review # 2 was written on 2012-09-12 00:00:00 Darian Gregory Overviews such as this always suffer from too few pages to cover everything. The decision to treat colonial warfare separately from the major 20th century wars makes sense for the early portion of the period. For the post-WW2 era, it does produce the odd feature of the Korean and Second Vietnam Wars being separated from the general discussion. Still, the book works over all. |
