Perusing this at my leisure. Definitely not one I'll read all the way through, but there are a lot of chapters with titles I'm curious about.

Poetry Playground is in the genre of poetry, and is an award winner. This book is intended for young readers. Readers that are preferably on grade level 1.Poetry Playground is a series of poems that the author wanted to make a connection between children poetry and adult poetry. I rated this book a 3 star because all the elements to this story was successful except for the illustration. The illustration could have been a little more appealing in its colors, and size. The characters were little boys and girls playing on the playground. The language was short, easy for young readers to comprehend. The sound was of a night time lullaby. Another reason why I gave it a 3 star rating because I don't think this book will be as appealing to its young readers. The sound of the book will seem boring to many young readers, and the pictures consist of no life. However, it is a good book overall.
