Review # 1 was written on 2015-03-07 00:00:00 Kenneth Harl Interesting book on the lives of female saints and the role of the male clerics who knew them. I read it mainly for the chapter on Catherine of Siena but the other women sound fascinating too. Worth a read if you are interested in female mysticism in Christianity and how it was viewed by the church. |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-08-17 00:00:00 COUTOULY PASCAL Two quotes stuck in my mind from this fast reading, short, little book. First one is about finding someone to love, to help firstly in your own family (rather than reaching out to strangers). Second one says that God is watching over you when you go out and come back to home. |
