Review # 1 was written on 2008-04-23 00:00:00 Kenneth Storer I'm trying to connect to my Estonian heritage, so I thought some folk tales would be a good start. This was a nice little volume, readable by kids and adults. I appreciated the values in a lot of the stories too, and that many of the central characters were your average working people.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-07-29 00:00:00 Jeffery Paetz Love this tale. My one disappointment is Carl naming the character the devil which is not part of Estonian mythology. I saw other translations that more accurately name him as a trickster.
