Review # 1 was written on 2011-03-07 00:00:00 John Kemp The "Essay on Rime" is a tour de force: a poem in formal verse about prosody--what a great idea. "Trial of a Poet"--concerning Ezra Pound's trial for treason (he made radio broadcasts on behalf of Mussolini and fascism) and was remanded to St. Elizabeth's Hospital in D.C. because of mental illness--is a bit more uneven.
