Review # 1 was written on 2021-01-26 00:00:00 Richard Young This is a solidly written book which outlines the problems of delivering mental health care and provides a sophisticated solution. The authors justifiably see the individual practitioner delivering well targeted care of proven efficacy as the key to the whole effort. Yet this was the part of the book in which it was weakest and vaguest. |
Review # 2 was written on 2019-07-24 00:00:00 Aaron Zemmer This book starts with a very compelling story of how a child dies as a result of flawed communication systems within a hospital. Gripping - but I have to keep putting it down because I get so mad. The last half of the book was about changing systems and culture. Not as engaging as the personal stories at the beginning. |
