Review # 1 was written on 2015-10-13 00:00:00 april clark This was an interesting telling of a Coyote story. Unlike the wily trickster always making trouble and getting into problems, Coyote was fun-loving, helpful and caring in this telling. His determination, his curiosity and thec ability to do the impossible relate him to who we originally know him as. The illustrations are past gorgeous and although they don't resemble Paul Goble's they are still reminiscent of the Native culture. The one complaint I had was the fact it was about the constellations but those outside the culture won't know why those animals were put there. It would have nice to had some short stories in the back or a suggestion where to find the stories on your own.

Review # 2 was written on 2017-11-11 00:00:00 Jessica Mascenic Beautiful illustrations and interesting pourquoi tale about how the constellations became to be in the night sky. My students have enjoyed reading and learning about the wonderful Indian tales of creation.
