First published in 2002 as a periodical, this has now been reprinted two times as a hardcover book and is the only recent publication available in English that covers all of Lina Bo Bardi's built work. Each building is covered with contemporary photos, contemporary hardline drawings, and a brief description. There is also a limited number of historical photos and Bo Bardi's drawings included. Olivia de Oliveira precedes all this with an introduction to Bo Bardi, her work, and its current status. In typical 2G fashion, this publication concludes with a selection of Bo Bardi's writings. The different editions contain essentially the same information, with subsequent editions containing slightly more because of the addition of new introductory material. I initially purchased the 2014 edition, but have replaced it with the 2002 edition because the print quality is slightly better. (I haven't seen the 2010 edition in person and can't comment on its print quality.) This book, especially when paired with AV Monographs 180: Lina Bo Bardi 1914-1992 offers excellent pictorial coverage of Bo Bardi's work.

Very nicely presented book on this essential Brazilian modern architect, who moved to Brazil from Italy in the 1960s. Her most famous and most visited work is the MASP museum in São Paulo.
