Review # 1 was written on 2019-04-02 00:00:00 Xavier Williams Never heard or read this book before. What an amazing idea for book. loving, caring and fun. Really and truly enjoyed reading this to kids.

Review # 2 was written on 2017-06-27 00:00:00 Mark Hobdell Sweet, informative book about a kid whose family is having another baby. I really liked the picture of baby in the womb and the chart showing the different stages of how the baby grows - helpful for conveying some sense of time to young children. Also, very sweet portrayal of how the older child prepares for baby's arrival and then helps comfort the new baby when she cries. I appreciated: - that this book didn't introduce the idea of jealousy; although it acknowledged that the new baby was a change, the older child's feelings were mostly positive - that the book showed (and talked about) breastfeeding - that the book included Dad as an involved caregiver This book might be a little wordy for younger toddlers, but was perfect for my 3 year old. As a side note, I noticed that, like in most other books on this topic, there is absolutely no explanation of *how* the baby gets out of the mom's body! Minor oversight...
