Review # 1 was written on 2016-11-29 00:00:00 Patricia Elerick It's been many years since I read this book, but I remember being inspired by the partnerships the author profiles in demonstrating how effective volunteer efforts can have a meaningful impact on homelessness. In fact, I wondered why some of the strategies shared hadn't (yet) been adopted in Hawaii. My recollection is that this is less of a step-by-step, or "how to", book and that it focuses fairly narrowly on examples of homeless shelters.
