Review # 1 was written on 2019-10-10 00:00:00 Sean Ross super interesting examination of medieval western christian perspectives on climatic determinism, jews & muslims as the "other", geographic perceptions of the world, etc. lots of valuable information. not quite as cohesive between chapters as it could've been, maybe, but deffo worth the time |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-12-20 00:00:00 Susann Sagvand I read this book for my History book report. I realized you need to have a pretty decent background in Egyptian history and literature especially poetry because this book tends to assume you already know a lot. It was kind of long and maybe some pictures would have been nice but overall for a book report it wasn't that bad |
