A fascinating, thoroughly-researched biography about one of the most important female poets of the early twentieth century. Jennifer Vaughan Jones' work provides not only a wealth of information regarding Anna Wickham's life, and the lives of many of her relatives, but also provides numerous details regarding the literary culture of London and Paris between the wars. If you are interested in women's poetry, Modernism, feminism and transnationalism, you should read this book.
