Review # 1 was written on 2015-09-02 00:00:00 Louis Schepp I loved this book. I liked how they found the correct voice and audience and tone. I liked how each chapter spoke about the holiday in general terms and then turned to how that holiday's themes apply to a couple. I like the inclusive nature of the types of couples. Married. With children. Empty nesters. Straight. Gay. Even those for whom marriage is no longer appropriate. Practical tips and spiritual insight. Exercises for couple to do together--and separately and always a little piece of chevruta--learning as friends. Some traditional and some not. |
