Review # 1 was written on 2014-02-07 00:00:00 Susan Breese No lie, I read all 200 pages of this book in one sitting. I wouldn't call it a definitive last word on theistic defenses in light of animal suffering, but it was a good first step in a sadly neglected area of philosophy of religion. As another bonus, it would also be very accessible even to a reader unfamiliar with contemporary theodicy, providing a nice intro to the entire subject.
