Review # 1 was written on 2012-04-04 00:00:00 J.c. Groen The whole series serves as a comprehensive and heavy theoretical reference on physical optics and optical engineering, most of which prof. Gross has incorporated into the material taught in our course. My only take is that the book is very poor in solved problems and numerical examples that, in my opinion, would've made the complicated physics and mathematics related to optics easier to understand and facilitated comprehension.
