Review # 1 was written on 2018-02-07 00:00:00 Timothy Bauer So far this reads like someone's graduate thesis or dissertation, yet it's also written conversationally enough to be engaging for the lay reader. Pulling in historical perspectives is interesting and engaging, despite the irritating lack of women represented in the author's choices. This, of course, is sadly typical of most academic disciplines and therefore unsurprising.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-11-07 00:00:00 Melissa Tillotson Virtually unreadable hundreds of pages of light Christianity, with very little substance. Be kind, forgive, have faith. I regret reading it. Wallace Wattles little book is a far more concise and practical similar book.
