Color cannot merely be quantified in a handful of paint chips; it is in much more linguistic and intrinsic flux than such a simple and bloodless reduction as that.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-11-07 00:00:00 Joshua Bucher It's hard to judge a book coming from a framework you're critical of. The authors did a great work and everything but I often feel generativists are trying to fit a square in a circular-shaped hole. I'm just a PhD student and there's plenty I don't know, but this is the impression I have when I compare this with "Grammaticalization".
