Review # 2 was written on 2017-05-02 00:00:00 Gilles Salmon Obviously not intended for a general readership, rather for an academic audience, but Karlin's prose is sharp, his knowledge of Browning probably unsurpassed, and the book makes for a good story. Recommended for anyone with even a passing interest in RB or EBB or the England in which they lived.
