Review # 1 was written on 2011-05-18 00:00:00 Giancarlo Buonamici A must read for anyone who plays, or aspires to play, listens to, or pretends to listen to, jazz in Australia. Nice conversational style, although an error I spotted - Tina Date is not the "late Tina Date who died in Cuba" but rather alive and well and working in Haita the last my co-creators on 'Lenny Bruce: 13 Daze Un-Dug In Sydney 1962' inform me (Tina was Lenny's support act) - makes me wonder what other errors may exist that I am not knowledgable enough to spot. Either I know millionfold more about the context and history of jazz in Sydney, and Oz in general. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-08-24 00:00:00 Nicholas J Casale III This book was fun. And, even though this makes me sound like a five-year-old, I liked the pictures. |
