Booklist, 104(21), 82 Content Scope: There are over 1,250 entries covering important women in history as well as topics important to women and their history. Accuracy, Authority, Bias: The entries were compiled by over 900 individuals from all over the world. Arrangement and Presentation: The entries are presented in alphabetical order. With such a numerous amount of entries, their is an excellent index. Relation to Similar Works: There may be others works containing women in history but they do not also include entries of important topics pertaining to women. Timeliness and Permanence: This work is well reviewed and would be an asset to any collection for years to come. Accessibility/Diversity: The encyclopedias cover a wide range of women from countries all over the world and from time periods throughout history.
