Review # 1 was written on 2012-02-20 00:00:00 Louis Vagnone Clearly written by someone who has not taught in a K-12 classroom, this book gave vague policy recommendations. Reading it with a school book group, we were left unclear about what we, as classroom educators, can do. I appreciate that he addresses structural racism, which I think is much needed, but overall I wasn't impressed with any of his ideas, probably because they were not clear enough to be meaningful. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-03-25 00:00:00 Henry Wilson The book repeats the same anecdote in some places, which suggests some poor editing. |
