Review # 1 was written on 2013-03-30 00:00:00 Joseph Stephens Not recommended for a beginning undergraduate, but rather for a grad student or more advanced looking to delve deeper into the problems of Greek and Latin historiography. Good intro to the problems, questions, sources, and contemporary trends in scholarship (late 1990s).

Review # 2 was written on 2011-11-13 00:00:00 Richard Binion I would have never gained any understanding of Chapters 4 and 5 of Omeros with out it. Epic is a great resource.
