Review # 2 was written on 2014-04-22 00:00:00 Daniel Fayfar After having Dr. Hancock as a professor, I loved working through his proof of the book in class. Once on my own as a teacher I naturally picked up what I remembered to be a clear and concise way to build a functional understanding of grammar. I'm not sure if it is years that have passed or the final draft. I remembered the proof to be clearer than the actual published text. Working through the book with my students shows gaps in how the various concepts are introduced. The first chapter is solid with the rest requiring additional definitions and rearranging to be accessible to all students. Also, chapter answers are missing from this text. Glad I hung on to my proof copy. |
