This story gets into the action straight away as we see two friends about to eat a picnic when they are rudely interrupted by someone else. As the story goes, the picnic occasion is continuously interrupted for several reasons and it is just about as much as they can take for the little friends. And as with all good stories, there is a lesson to be learned at the end of this, when they help somebody out with a problem and it ends up working in their favour! (I won't give away the ending - you can read it yourself) A good story, but I had to read it a couple of times to get to grips with which character was who! One of the characters was Tiger, so I was looking for a tiger but it turns out that's his name rather than the kind of animal he is...Pig is actually a pig. Not sure how the children would understand it, maybe just me.... Great illustrations, showing exactly what's happening in the story, ideal for little readers - around year 3 and 4, starting to develop their skills in reading full sentences and understanding them in a wider context.

Cute pictures as always, but the story isn't anything special. It also ends suddenly. Wouldn't bother using.
