Review # 1 was written on 2015-06-06 00:00:00 Peter Armour Take one Nancy Drew book, add a (very small!) dash of Maisie Dobbs, stir in a bad '80's Harlequin romance and you have this book.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-07-03 00:00:00 Joel Carson I enjoy a good historical mystery, especially when the main protagonist is a strong independent woman. Unfortunately when Ursula is asked by a friend to help with a dead body, the first thing she does is calls a man, Lord Wrotham, when he arrives she bursts into tears, then he escorts her away with, to quote the author a slow, almost seductive gesture. That was enough for me, the book didn't live up to its own 'introductory blurb' and certainly not to my expectations.
