Review # 1 was written on 2016-10-09 00:00:00 Leesa Lowder This collection of short stories involving cats is good, bad, and indifferent, as are most collections. The title is erroneous though because it implies that the cats do the crime, whereas in most they solve it. Sometime murder, sometimes theft. Usually collections lead up to the best stories. In this case the last 2 are not worth reading in my opinion. The one set in Maggody, Arkansas tells me to stay away from that series. Oddly, one of the stories ends with lines that could come from today's headlines: "I only wanted the best for my son. Only the best. I was just being a good father. My boy deserves nothing but the best."
