Review # 1 was written on 2017-02-24 00:00:00 Viviana Villarreal Madeline and Pepito visit the travelling fayre that comes to town. Unfortunately a storm cause the big wheel to be stopped, when the others are evacuated Madeline and Pepito are stranded in a car at the top. When they get down they ask one of the gypsies if they can spend the night in their beautiful caravan they discover it's quite nice. After spending the next day travelling to a new destination and learning some acrobatics they decide that life in the circus is more fun than school and stay on to perform there. Lovely paintings, the ones of the children in harlequin clown costumes are beautiful and reminiscent of the picasso paintings of the same subject.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-09-08 00:00:00 Anthony Rael I really loved the costume drawings in this one! It was a super fun story but I mean, the kids did basically get kidnapped! These are probably the only picture books I can read time and time again without growing bored!
