Review # 1 was written on 2012-01-26 00:00:00 Brett Morris What a crazy little book. First Fox chases his sister up a telephone pole, then a diving pool. In the last story, his friends invite him to go swimming. He says that he doesn't have a swimming suit and they say to go without one, they won't look. Then later a dog says, "Next time you should wear some clothes." But if you look at the illustration, the dog is naked, too. lol |
Review # 2 was written on 2019-08-19 00:00:00 Kimberly Holmes Every time Fox wants to hang out with his friends his mom sticks him with babysitting his little sister, Louise. Louise can be sneaky, too, climbing up into high places where Fox doesn't want to go. True siblings! Fox's friends also entice him to go swimming and shirk his crossing-guard responsibilities, which he does - for a short time. A nightmare about a dangerous street crossing sends him running back to his post (without his clothes!). Fans of Fox stories will enjoy this first-reader, which manages to be funny for all ages even with its limited vocabulary. |
