Review # 1 was written on 2020-10-08 00:00:00 Eric Wild This is adapted from a stage play by the same author. I seriously wonder how that play is staged as there are a lot of scenes and possibly difficult effects needed based on this adaptation. The story is hard to place in time. There are hints as to the era but not enough to be sure of when it was set. The plot didn't always flow and I felt very little empathy with any of the characters. I again wonder if this is better in the stage version. On the positive side, the scenarios are often amusing if not laugh out loud funny. There are some scenes you could imagine being played out on stage that could be enjoyable. 3*. There isn't much I disliked about the story but there is also very little I loved.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-01-11 00:00:00 Jason Holland I really loved this book. I loved the thought that I thought this was non-fiction but at the end when the mother giant comes it is fiction. And i love the very end where finally she gets a little brother, that's so sweet! :)
