Review # 1 was written on 2017-05-20 00:00:00 Lee Bentley This book was strange. I didn't like how she was with her grandfather, I know he raised her, but she acted like she owed him everything she could get. He was a crook, plain and simple. But for some reason she acted like he was God. Her family was weird. It was obvious when they found out who Jack was they were probably gonna try and rip him off or something. Better count the silverware after they leave. I didn't really like how she left him twice and he went back to her both times. If she did it to you again. Wipe your hands of her, find someone who doesn't want you for you money or family connections and move on. I can't believe he got her out of jail like he did. It was totally her fault she was in there and he waltzed in like she was framed or something. Her grandfather stole the diamonds, yet she took the fall for him. He was probably to old to be in jail again, but maybe that would be the best place for him, maybe he would stop wanting one "final fling" and get a respectable job or at least social security like the rest of the older generations do.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-08-14 00:00:00 Kent Takano This book did my head in a bit with all the tooing and froing between character perspectives - it made it a bit repetitive to me and could have been done more slickly. Also H's sister needs to get a life and he needs to stop enabling her and as for the h what a schmuck she turned out to be - that last bit of the storyline just was far too OTT for my liking sure have a family of crooks but jeez this one was just too dwamatic!
