Review # 1 was written on 2016-03-16 00:00:00 Roy Harden Impresionante lectura, me ha dejado at�nito, densa como piedras por algunos momentos, ligera como el viento en otros. Sin duda, muy original a la hora de tratar un planteamiento ficticio que nunca jam�s he visto en literatura o cine a excepci�n de La pasi�n de Juana de Arco. El enfoque experimental para dar el salto a �l es de lo m�s singular, tampoco nunca he visto un enfoque del estilo que propone John a-Nokes durante el juicio, con todos esos esquemas y dibujos tan acertados como verdaderos. Por otro lado, lleno de frases memorables por el personaje de a-Nokes y de reflexiones profundas, que contrastan con el tecnicismo fr�o del jurado, en algunos momentos demasiado aburrido. Es un libro fenomenal, para muy curiosos. Sin embargo, no creo que sea una lectura para veloces ni para cualquiera, no s� hasta qu� punto puede ser de comprensi�n dificultosa para alguien sin esa genuina chispa por el conocimiento �ltimo. El esfuerzo del autor por hacer que resulte divertida, did�ctica y comprometida con Dios por partes iguales, hace de �ste libro, uno de los mejores que he le�do sobre materia de esp�ritu. Y al final de todo, cuando descubres la relaci�n personal de Douglas con el personaje y el pasado familiar en una r�gida secta cristiana, te deja todav�a m�s at�nito que con la resoluci�n abierta del relato. Pero con la firme convicci�n de que uno ha de borrar la cabeza para experimentar la m�s profunda libertad que somos.

Review # 2 was written on 2009-07-23 00:00:00 Ken Luong I found this book to be useful and insightful as well as practical in terms of trying relay the experience of 'headlessness' and unity consciousness to the reader via a fictional story. The story centres around a man who is on trial in the future for breaking the laws of convention around religion/blasphemy by claiming to be 'God' or having consciousness of Godhead. The author tries to relay this experience over many chapters, each with a philosphical and practical import. Personally, I found the book to be too wordy for my liking, and prefer a more bare-bones approach to the subject (which is available in some of the author's other books). But for those liking fictional reading and a little more pizazz, then this book could satisfy on both accounts- fictional narrative and practical nondual enquiry.
